Regardless, still doesn't change the fact I don't know what bloody purpose it serves. I'm hoping conferences and schools break away from the NCAA. The stupid rules and sissification of football is pathetic.

I'm not condoning leading with crown of helmet, but football is fluid movement. You could be getting ready to hit someone with a perfectly legal hit, but the offensive player twists, contorts, or ducks his body, and what would have been a legal hit became illegal before defender can stop himself.

On the other hand tOSU freshman Tim Gardner has been kicked off the team. tOSU freshman tight end Marcus Baugh will miss the first game. I haven't seen any further confirmation on the Vonn Bell story.

Yeah the Vonn Bell thing is weird. Would like to know what Tim Gardner did to be removed from the team completely with obstruction of justice.
