Yeah, but the real loot is the trip to Boise in late December!

Miami AD Blake James said today that "You want to win all your games. The reality is, that doesn't happen."

What a joke. The administration at Miami has to rank among one of the worst in terms of football in all of FBS.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Nick O'Leary wins the Mackey Award. Maybe it's my homer talking, but I think Clive Walford is more deserving of the award.

47 rec 614 yds 13.1 avg 6 td vs 44 rec 676 yds 15.4 avg 7 td

I'd imagine Walford is going to go first in the draft before O'Leary, and might even be the first TE selected in the draft. Was one of, if not the best player on Miami's roster this year. Was the best receiver, never missed a block. Outside of one fumble, he played a near perfect season.

I guess like most awards, they go to the better players on the winning teams, not the actual best player at a position.

Well, it looks like Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon is going pro. He appears to have decided that he will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.

Also, Alabama's Amari Cooper is expected to go pro too. Alabama's Lane Kiffin pretty much expects him to go pro.

You're the only person that I've seen even think Walford is going to go first.

First, Funchess is probably going to be drafted as a tight end.. He'll be the first one taken off the board with O'Leary probably coming off second. Walford will be lucky to be the 5th tight end taken.

Thought this was pretty neat. If you haven't see this before, note that you can click on each office and navigate to different (slightly) interactive views of each office:
