That's a win for Texas.

UPDATE: Nick Saban confirmed during today's team meeting that Sarkisian is taking the Texas job.

UPDATE 2.0: It's been officially confirmed by the University of Texas.

CFB makes no sense, so it would actually be unsurprising at this point if Sark somehow found success.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Some smoke about some dirty stuff concerning 5 star OT Tristian Leigh, who committed to Clemson today over OU and LSU. He was thought to be an OU lean. I’ll copy and paste the interesting bits....

“He actually signed his LOI last month and told schools he didn’t sign anything. His mom was part of it telling schools they still had a chance when he had been officially signed to Clemson’s class for a month. Then also telling he would announce today and sign in February again giving false hope to said schools.”

“ Also apparently per Caleb Williams’ dad, he and Caleb had basically finalized plans about rooming together at Oklahoma......after he had already signed with Clemson.”

Wild, if true. Kid is insanely talented, and wasn’t coming to Columbus regardless but I know Ohio State’s recruiting class (the actual recruits) legitimately cannot stand him for the crap he pulled with them during his recruitment.

Yeah, it was more than a little surprising. Everyone pretty much "knew" he would pick either Oklahoma or LSU.

Apparently he had told Dabo earlier this week, so I don't know for sure if he had actually been signed for a month.

Maybe Oklahoma or LSU should've sweetened the pot a little more. :shrugs:

Re: College Football Off Topic

A lot of Kentucky’s seniors are taking advantage of the NCAA’s blanket Covid waiver and returning for another year in Lexington.

If new OC Liam Coen can fix the passing game, there may be something special brewing in Lexington next year.
