I played 26 games for a total of 662 hours. Three hours was my longest session. I can’t do the marathon sessions anymore.

1. MLB 19 - 316 hours
2. Everybody’s Golf - 64 hours
3. MLB 18 - 60 hours

Nah, I switched mid gen from ps2 to xbox and the difference was massive. Graphics wise, plus having a built in hard drive, and the broadband only online play at the time, hardware wise it was a major upgrade. PS2 had a much deeper library of games though.

The difference was very stark, indeed. Sports games really saw a massive uplift on the Xbox in comparison, and was really the only reason I ended up getting an Xbox (got the awesome green Halo edition and just bought some of the 2K games for it).

Not sure what happened during the PS3 age when cross-platform games had a hit on the PS3 whereas first-party games were glorious in comparison. Maybe it was working with the SPU's instead of a GPU, and the coding for a third-party title couldn't account for that the same way?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion

I had an original Xbox for one game - ESPN NFL 2K5 so I could update rosters using Finn's PC gamesave editor but once Finn cracked the PS2 checksum protection and the editor could be used on PS2, I went back to playing 2K5 on PS2 as the controller was simply superior to the giant bulky Xbox controller and even the S controller wasn't much better when it came playing the game. Editing was perfectly fine but playing the game wasn't. Can't believe that was around 15 years ago. Time zooms by.

Going to have to disagree on this one i saw/played multi platform games on ps2/xbox/gamecube, and they looked 100% the same, and there was not any exclusives either on any of the 3 that i thought man it cant look that good on the other 2. Not sure about online play but graphic wise there was no difference at all. Now ps3 and xbox 360 gen on the other hand ps3 multi platform games had a lot of issues the first like 2 years or so because of the cell and its part of the reason ps3 sales were not great at the start.

If you played any of the 2K sports games on both consoles, you wouldn't be saying this at all.

Yup. 2K5 was the first one I thought of. Difference was huge
