i'm wondering if in like recruiting (4 & 5 stars) a players awareness is like D+ but is skill rating is high like B's but if his awarness is like A his skills will be like C. which is better then? does awareness really matter?

Well I hope awareness matter. Because it will in madden 10.

It is supposed to with regards to play recognition and play action fakes, but I'm not sure it has a -huge- effect in this year's game. I think next year it will.

I read somewhere that a player with a lower awareness rating will likely progress more, but I haven't been able to confirm that. Also, I think recruiting players with higher awareness helps keep your academic pitch higher, but again, I'm not 100% sure.

I dont know if there's any truth to this or not but i've heard that a high awareness for receivers gives them ability to get open easier. Not sure about other positions though.
