but the 3-4 is the best thing to run against the Spread, which is what a LOT of teams run now a days.

I've actually never paid attention to this. Now that I think about it, there are also defensive schemes that are more complex and aren't allowed to be chosen to use in the game also.

because most the changes in the schemes are so subtle and minute it really doesnt matter.

the only thing that comes to mind is the LSU Express, which failed horribly.

Maybe we can make a list of the 3-4, 4-2-5, and 3-3-5 teams so that it will be right for the game.

I know Cal ran the 3-4 last year and it was a 4-3 in the game. I think Maryland is tweaking their scheme too this year--not sure to what.
