Question about switching conferences

Say i use Colorado in a dynasty and keep them in the Big 12 the 1st season i play,do i have the option of switching them to a different conference in years to follow or is it a one time thing at the very beginning of the dynasty?

Only if you get a conference invite. No option for conference switch after season is over.

Ok so if i want to put them in the Pac 10 for example,i have to do it before i start my 1st yr of dynasty correct?

One team in the conference you want to go to has to play poorly for awhile and then if the conference sees fit you will get an invite. HOWEVER, this is also based on geography. If you are say Arizona you will NOT be getting an invite to the SEC. And, if you are in a BCS Conference you will not be getting invites from non-BCS conferences.
