Think I might get into NCAA football this upcoming year...

You've probably seen me here before talking about myself. I don't really know football that well thanks to a lack of exposure (I'm Canadian), plus my main sports would be basketball and MMA.

However, NCAA Football 11 is looking really good and I like the variety it (potentially) has. I'm also a big fan of recruiting (something I loved doing back in the CH2K8 game) and I think I'd have a lot of fun with it in this game too.

I sorta know football, but nowhere near to the depth that I'm sure many of you know it. I have a general idea of what formations to use in a certain situation and go from there. If I do end up getting this game, I'm definitely going to want to run with a school that uses the Option play. For whatever reason, I really love that set; I guess I love my perceived options and variety it potentially has - at any given time I could hand it off; pass it or take it myself and I really like that playstyle.

What are some schools that use the option? I think if I really begin to enjoy this game, I may even try an online Dynasty with some of you folks (if you'll have me).

I wouldn't mind a solid team; something I could work with and build up - it doesn't have to be the BEST team out there. I actually like building up teams if I can!

So folks, here's hoping I take the dive and give this game a go! I hope it's all it's cracked up to be and I'll be relying on you guys to tell me if it's really the authentic College Football that you're hoping it will be.

georgia tech and navy are your two best bets, with georgia tech being the better team of the two

well if you want a triple option offense then Navy, Georgia Tech, Army or Air Force would be your best bet. There are other teams that have variations of the option in their offense that aren't a full blown wishbone, flexbone or wing T offenses. Some teams do run some option out of the I and other run it out of the spread. Teams like Florida and Michigan run the spread option out of the shotgun.
