I am hoping that this "new system" will lead to a better chance of being able to block a kick and also having them blocked by the computer. I know it doesn't happen every game, but some teams do make a living in the special teams area. Are we going to see an emphasis on that this year or next?

What exactly is the relationship between a new tackling system and blocked kicks? Less suction blocking I guess?

Hopefully so. I want to have that chance to block one. I loved when VT had that reputation even though I am an 'eer at heart.

Meyer was very good at special teams with Florida.... We blocked alot of kicks and punts

Lets hope that you can take virtual florida and do the same. I really want this to be a part of the game. Its not at all at this point.

I'm not so concerned about punts and kicks being blocked so much as I am the return game actually feeling like a return game.

The fact that nobody is back to block and that a player could make magical cuts to the ball carrier at top speed ruined the punt return game. Plus the two unblocked WRs thing is really annoying.

Point well made. Punt returns were atrocious. I felt like I had to be a wizard every time I had a return because no one got back to block. Well said!
