Is an injured players trade value lower?

I traded for Gabriel Landeskog and gave up viRitually nothing .... He is hurt in my be a gm until feb 23 and I am in early jan so I can ride it out... But just trying to figure out why his value was low.

Traded

Vincent Trocheck
Ryan Ellis- has okay trade value
Saku Koivu

Received
Landeskog
Adam dejardins

Trading is normally hard and gave up until I saw what landeskog was valued at. Had to be the injury right?

Wow...
I was under the impression injured players could not be traded.

They can be. I just traded Clarkson, and some picks for Eberle. Clarkson's out for another 3 weeks or so. But, hey, size and grit for Edmonton, right?
