Is it weird that fakes drastically increase the amount of time before ref stand-up?

There are stand-ups in EA UFC 2? I've never seen 1 and i've been playing daily since the first day the game came out.

I thought it was a feature they intentionally removed, compared to EA UFC 1?

it's nothing but a bug / oversight. the standup logic was broken by the grappling changes in ufc 2 and they never got around to fixing it.

They are there..it's just that practically EVERYTHING you can do on the ground resets the standup timer.

Will hopefully be changed for UFC3 to promote more activity on the ground
