The thing about a 77in TV, you really get to see how good 4K is but if something isn't 4K you can really tell also.
I found the Monday night games to look a lot better. This is with my non 4k receiver for direct tv

My parents have a 4K sports channel and when Games are on there they look incredible. It’s mostly soccer games but it looks great.

The only 4k broadcast for the NFL is the Thursday night games on Fox if you have FIOS. Not sure if other providers offer it but watching every thursday night game in 4k is beyond amazing compare to the trash that sunday fox games look like

Also ESPN does 4k for the national title game college Football

Fox says it’s 4k but it’s not 4k. It’s a 1080p broadcast that gets up scaled to 4k. They’ve already said it before. It still looks better than a regular Sunday broadcast which is in 720p

Looking for a upgrade TV right now, have a Samsung curve 43". Mostly for movies and next Gen gaming, have the Xbox Series X and will get PS5 eventually. Was thinking about this one.

Check this out at Amazon
SAMSUNG 55-inch Class QLED Q80T Series - 4K UHD Direct Full Array 12X Quantum HDR 12X Smart TV with Alexa Built-in (QN55Q80TAFXZA, 2020 Model) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084RGZ3P7...=operasport-20

Or looking for any other suggestions, looking to spend 1-1.5k 46"-55"

If Dolby Vision isn't important to you, the Q80 is a good TV. If you need Dolby Vision, then the Sony 900H, or the VIZIO OLED are your next best options

Since no background lighting is needed here, OLED screens are thinner and lighter than comparable LCD panels. OLED devices achieve much higher contrast and at the same time, better image depth.

I want Dolby Vision, ( I want the best picture for my price) will have to be 48-50 as 55 would be a little much, this is for my bedroom. I'm out on VIZIO right now, got one a few years ago and they had to replace it 3 times within a 6 month span for problems they were having.
