Back in 2004 the Rockets won a MAC Championship with star players like Bruce Gradkowski, Steve Odom, Andrew Clarke, and Keon Jackson. Unfortunately, Toledo lost to Connecticut in the motor city bowl game due to Bruce Gradkowski's Injury. After that season Bruce Gradkowski decided to come back to his senior year to defend that MAC Championship.

But his coach(Tom Amstutz) decided to leave the Rockets for some reason. So, Toledo hired a new head coach and his name is.
