How's everyone finding the new FM?, I've just spent the last hour sorting out my save, and looking at the squad, staff and finances! - Hoping to get at least 15 seasons done this FM! 10 seasons is my record!

I am of course loving it. I do think that the match engine might need some work.

Headers/crossing seemingly is overpowered. Scoring heaps of them from all sorts of players..

Anyway, it's a small basque town with a club that miracolously got in the first division and stayed there for 7 years but they were relegated last year.

Great leadership behind the club, no debt, they really care about the money and really a inspiring cinderella story.

I am playing as Markel Susaeta , maybe you have heard of him, a well known ex Athletic Bilbao player who retired from football last year. He was born in Eibar.

I signed 3 players, 2 transfers and 1 loan.

Gaizka Ayesa, 20 year old goalkeeper from Real Sociedad. I sold one goalkeeper who had a high wage and got a young basque goalkeeper who will be a first choice gk.

Oier Zarraga, 22 year old midfielder from Athletic Bilbao. Loaned him for a year, I sold one midfield player to Watford and needed another player to replace him, this basque will do the job.

And Anthony Lozano, I really needed a striker and this guy fits nicely. Got him from Cadiz, pressing forward, athletic player, expecting big things from him. Late signing, still hasn't played a game for me.

Here's the table after 3 matches, 3 wins, 2 home games, I won against Almeria, they got their suggar daddy and have the strongest team in segund in my opinion but managed to beat them 1-0 at Ipurua.

Always good to have a bit of narrative behind a save! - I've tossed a few save ideas around and at this stage I'm going with Union Berlin!.

Before the Copa90 derby days, this is the one I saw a few years before that always made me have a soft spot for them. (I assume there's some repeated content, but hey maybe someone wants to really binge.)

St.Pauli was my second option I also love what they stand for too!

I'll probably start a thread in the Dynasty section about my Union Berlin save as I have a personal FM blog but I don't think I'm aloud to link it here.

I've set a few rules for myself, The DOF is making all the transfers, and the Chief scout is in charge of all scouting assignments so I cant just go out and sign all the wonderkids! as I can only sign players my scouts find to make it more challenging - I'll tell my DOF who I want and he will "hopefully" get the deals done!

Would really like to see this FM Forum start to kick off a bit! it's such a great game and really good to see the different directions people take with their saves!
