if you use the wire cam and take the height and zoom down to 1...its pretty close to the 2k cam...youll just have to get used to playing defense with your back to the hoop

Sorry Pared, but in 2k8, the 2k cam online was smooth as butter, and I never had a drop.

exactly last year the 2k cam online was perfect and all that i ever used

2k9's graphics =/= 2k8's graphics.

Play it offline and see the stutter... and imagine that translating to online.

Just trying to help you guys out. It might have been for the "greater good." You may not be happy with it, but I'm sure those that would've had many disconnects would've been just as unhappy.

i had no issues. only drops were because some dude pulled out his ethernet cord.

i'm tryin to PLAY basketball, not watch basketball. so broadcast view is not hot.

I don't think graphics has anything to do with online play. They're not sending the graphics across at all.

My Sim league, everyone used the 2K cam. This year I have people dropping out of the league already because they will not play w/o that cam online. Too arcadish for them sideways.

Graphics impact the framerate. The framerate impacts the connection that is continually held between two players online.

do you think they can possibly patch it, or is it a wrap for 2k cam this year. i did end up getting it, but i can always sell it. i see frame rate issues on A LOT of the cams tho.

Even offline, even though the framerate is impacted, the controls are still being fed in realtime.

Everything that is sent between online players should just be co-ordinates.

Anyways, I'm always open to understanding, but only if it makes sense. I'm only a programmer.
