Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
I played close to 400 games of 2k7, it was a great game when played against a sim player, and in sim leagues. 2K8 on the other hand was unplayable do to the poor controls, and the slugginess of the players. Now they take out their classic view? that is kinda weird.Comment

Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
honestly, the 2k franchise/association modes aren't that deep to me. now i cant even import college players so that a small blow. i play this game mostly online against friends all over the world. i've been using that view mad long. i DESPISE broadcast. they dont even have iso online. MY personal experience takes a blow. i'm not telling others not to buy it, for me 2k ball WAS an instant purchase, now i'm gonna ponder.
its bad enough dudes act like the camera itself is cheese, which is tom foolery. with broadcast u can just force dudes to play to the side where ya cant see the sideline and get TO's. there is no such thing as a 'cheese camera'Comment

Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
I've been playing 2K camera ever since it was introduced and even when it went by another name in other games. I NEVER used any other camera at all. Sure I tried a game or two (out of THOUSANDS over the years) with other views but quickly came back to 2K. 2K is the only camera I ever used so I do feel you guys. I now have some decisions to make. Do I play my association in broadcast now seeing that I really don't want to have to adjust to one way of playing offline and another online. It was a bummer to go through the views and see it gone and then get worked by my frined online because half the time I was trying to find a camera that worked.
One camera is a high view but it doesn't rotate and you can't see the basket on the other end. But because the game is so much better this year than last it's an adjustment that I can live with. Broadcast isn't that bad so guys just give it a try. I know it stinks to lose this camera online but hey if you played it offline you'll know that it would be horrible online. Frame rate takes a real hit with that camera at least till you get the ball past half court.Comment

Good riddance, I love the broadcast camera because it looks more realistic like if you were watching a basketball game. I hated the 2k camera with its 180 degree spins after every FG attempt.Xbox GT: itzyellowman

If you practice with that view enough you would know how to avoid it.Xbox GT: itzyellowman

Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
I hope some sort of patch for this gets released by the time i get this next month. I simply cant play a basketball game as well as im used to when i cant see down the entire court infront of me. I hate how some of you are saying just adjust to it though. Many of us played basketball games from the side view for years, and im certain the first time most of us played nba2k there was no adjustment needed due to how natural the 2k camera felt.Comment

Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
Lol why are people defending 2K for taking away a staple camera angle since the game's release with no clue as to why thy did it? This does suck, as I usually play with this angle. I have noticed it is laggy offline though, maybe that is a clue as some have already speculated about.
Of course, I will adjust, but if you can't add anything to the thread other "get over it" or "adjust" just do the rest of us a favor and not post. If you don't care personally about the lack of 2K camera online then there's really no real reason to join the conversation in the first place, especially when all you're going to do is what pretty much equates to trolling.PS: You guys are great.

I don't know how some could underestimate the importance of HOW YOU SEE THE GAME. Does this remind you of Nba2k4 anyone? De ja vu. You should never sacrifice functionality for graphics, you'd think some things would just be obvious.
To the people saying "just adjust" my answer is 1. you probably never play real ball (since that is the angle you see the court in real ball) 2. why in the hell in a next gen game, should we be happy when the game goes BACKWARDS in progress.Comment

I can't believe they took 'High' cam out, along with 2K Cam =[
This sucks, that's all I ever played on.

I don't think I've used 2K cam since the Dreamcast days. IMO, I think it's lame. The screen flips around. It just screams arcade to me. Then again, a good amount of people like it.

Re: Its true. No 2K cam plus others missing online.
Me too but I realized that many people like to play it more like the way the player with the ball is facing. I maybe played using one of those "behind the player with the ball" cams - only once or twice in my life. But people like to see the entire court, and let's face it - it does make it easier to play that way. But I keep playing with those "press" cams etc.My Specs:
