Nice to see you agree with the score even though you have yet to play the game extensively yourself. We know you want 2k to be great as do I, but it does no good to chime in with your take on the validity of a review on a game you have no intention of buying. What will you say if 2k scores an 8.2 or lower at GS ?

An 8.3 is a good score especially knowing how stingy GS can be in that regard at times.

I think they should of given it a higher rating. To me an 8.3 means a lot of postive with a few neagtives. They pretty much say one paragraph of negativity and the rest postive. Esp with a 9 in gameplay. What are they smoking. Wait till users post up there reviews on here on gamerankings.com

Geez just take the reviews as a guide, not a fact or anything. If you see a 9.9 review you will brag about how great the review is and how good the game sounds but seeing an 8.3 you are defending it and saying wait for other reviews or reader reviews (which isn't the smartest thing seeing any user can sign up and give crap to a game with their user review).

I was hoping for a higher score cause I just pre-orderd it today .. Here are some notable quotes from the review

"Another great addition is that most of the players in the game are wearing the same brand of shoes they wear in real life. Brands like Nike, Adidas, and Reebok are represented in the game, so you'll see Allen Iverson sporting the "Answer 6," while Tracy McGrady is decked out in his signature "T-Mac" kicks."

Interesting read. I know that this game is deserveres at least a rental. But the one thing that bothers me that he pointed out is that a player on fastbreaks stops and turns around to get the pass, which is something that plagued the 2K series a couple years ago. Otherwise, the game sounds good.
