How to stop 3 point shots?

I'm using a modified slider set that's posted here (rspencer). My main problem is no matter how covered the CPU is, it feels like they never miss 3pt shots. Any ideas?

I use rspencer's sliders, too. I might suggest setting the coverage setting to "tight"? I'm not sure. I really don't have an issue with it. I would also suggest using primarily man defense as zone defense will leave a lot of holes and open up a lot of open threes unless you control your players properly. I use primarily man, though I do run 2-3 and 1-3-1 zones as a changeup, but this requires me to do a lot of switching to get my players in the right position.

2-3 zone is brutal with a lower awareness team. Try 3-2 if you want zone, but control your bigs and get out on shots from the corner.

            1) I know it sounds dumb, but make sure you contest every shot no matter what. Doesnt matter if ur right on top of ur man or 10ft away.
            2) When contesting a jump shot, NEVER contest using RT+Y. If you use RT+Y and dont block the shot it's almost as if you never contested it in the first place. A simple press of the Y or triangle button is the only way you should be contesting jump shots.
            3) Try to recognize/anticipate the next pass the CPU is going to make. A lot of their 3's come after they swing the ball from wing to wing. Another play they run is the baseline pick and pop where the 2or3 fades to the corner for a 3. If you're always reacting to the next pass you are going to get burned from deep consistently.
I play on MOP with the CPU's 3pt at 50 and I usually hold them to around 30% from 3 using these methods. Sometimes, though, they just make them. The best you can do is to be ready to switch and contest the shot properly.
