House Rules:

- I only play as one player on defense and do not switch mid-possession. I alternate position with each possession. Thus, one possession #1, I will play as PG, then possession #2 as SG, possession #3 as SF, possession #4 as PF, possession #5 as C, possession #6 as PG, etc....

- I tend to mostly pull back on fast breaks. It is very easy to throw a bounce pass through the defense unrealistically going towards the hoop in this game, which leads to too many layups/dunks.

- I do not use the 'B' crossover button, as I feel like this is too easy as to be cheesy. I do use the 'Y' crossover button, however. This makes a player's ball-handling rating important.

- I only do the turnaround post move once per half. I feel like it is overpowered and too easy to get easy layups and/or dunks off of it.

James Frizzell Hired by Princeton!

Princeton, NJ - The Princeton Tigers have just decided on their new coach for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. The Tigers have hired an unknown by the name of James Frizzell. Frizzell, who is 25 years old, has been coaching high school basketball in North Carolina for the past few years after he graduated from West Virginia University. Frizzell is known for his three point shooting and many compare him to former West Virginia head coach and current Michigan head coach John Beilein, though Frizzell adamantly says his offense is different. "Do we both shoot a lot of threes?" he said. "Yes, but I like to go inside more and then kick the ball outside. I also utilize more dribble drives and kick the ball out to open shooters. They are similar on the box score, but different in the game."

Frizzell was very excited about the opportunity. "Princeton is an Ivy League school and I believe it is a privilege to be coaching for such a fine academic institution," he said. "I cannot wait!"

Frizzell's Coaching Ratings

Defense: C
Teaching: C+

2007-2008 Princeton Tigers Roster

Princeton, NJ - New coach of the Princeton Tigers, James Frizzell, announced the starters and his finalized rosters for the upcoming season. Coach Frizzell commented, "I feel this kids have earned the right to be on this team and I look forward to working with them and helping them improve over the course of the season."

Coach Frizzell is also only carrying 9 men on his roster this year. "I don't want guys just taking up space out there," he said. "If only 9 guys are good enough to make the team, then only 9 guys will make the team. I don't believe in filling roster spots just for the sake of filling them."

One may notice the lack of forwards and centers, being that there are only 2 forwards and 1 center in the entire lineup, and all three are starters, but Coach Frizzell is not too concerned. "Well," he said, "we play mostly for three pointers, anyways, so I am not too concerned about this. I do wish we had a little more depth, though."

That is going to be a tough line-up to play with. At least your starting SG is 6'7" because he can play in the 4 or 5 for you when they are fatigued. Good luck in your first season!

Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)

Alright, here is what I am going to do. I am going to run this career legacy and my West Virginia one jointly, so that I can have the both of both worlds: play with my favorite team and do a career legacy! Hope no one minds. Of course, I will be on vacation until Saturday, so there will be no updates for a while. Just thought I would let you all know!
