Fixed the hdr brightness on xbx or at least changed it. I can now leave rendering on.

Did they remove the ball sleeves from online play yet? If not it needs to be ASAP. I'd argue that all career upgrades/perks/fittings should be removed from online and make the game skill based again, but would settle for them dumping the stupid balls as they've the biggest impact on how the game plays.

Mine is good since I changed graphics from quality to performance.

I never had a chance of honing a properly tempoed swing with the graphics in quality mode. It's a lot better in performance mode for sure, but there's still an inconsistency with the swing, even in performance mode. I can't detect anything different about the feel of the game since the patch. I can say that I was able to complete 3 nine hole matches using private matchmaking without a hitch, although one of them mysteriously ended when my opponent went dormie with four holes to play.

I'm still surprised when I read people talking about screen ripping, crashing, or general poor performance.

From day one, on PS5, I've been in Quality mode, and even the really dense courses have never been a problem, at all. I'm wondering if it's more of an XBox issue? I literally set it on Quality the first time I loaded the game before I played my very first round, and have completely forgotten about it, because there have not been any issues at all.

If you can’t sense the difference between the quality & performance mode you must be blind to frame rates. It’s literally a night & day difference in gameplay on both generation 9 machines.
Tearing is a PS5 only issue & that’s only if you play quick & fast forward shot outcomes.
In a nutshell HB should not even be working in the console industry as they do not utilise the power of both machines & haven’t grasped the development on any generation 8 or 9 hardware. They should stick to PC only in my opinion.

You've got me curious to check it out on Performance to see if I notice any differences. I can tell you this, when I was still on PS4 with 2k21, the few times I tried to go up to 60fps, messing with the settings, etc, the screen ripping was very dramatic and I backed off of it, so I know what the game looks like when it's struggling.

I just haven't seen anything like that with this version on PS5. The swing animation is silky smooth, the ball flight is like glass. No issues whatsoever. Definitely gonna play my next round on Performance and see if I notice anything.
