Driving Question?

How come when I go to hit a drive sometimes and I hit 1005 it ends up 60 yards short and in the rough (no wind either)...Is the target before I hit where it will land or when it stops moving..>thanks

I think he meant 100% as that is the character that he was trying to type and missed the shift key....

Re: Driving Question?

My bad. Its supposed to say 100% . In other words, I aim for the fairway (say about 250 yds), but when I swing at 100% it ends up in the rough like 60 yards short of my aiming spot...So my question is two-fold 1. Why is it short and 2. is the aim for where it lands on contact or after it is done rolling ...Hopefully this is clearer...Thanks again

Re: Driving Question?

Are you using a created player? Maybe your power XP's is low. I'm having a problem seeing how far my drives go after the shot. On the screen afterwards, it just says how much distance there is left to the pin. Did they take that out of the presentation this year? Help..

Re: Driving Question?

The aiming spot is for where it will stop rolling.

My guess is that you are failing to take into account the slope. If you are hitting to a spot that is higher from where you are, you will lose distance. You may also be hitting it 100%, but not solid.

Also, if it is wet, the ball will not roll as far.
