Re: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Features The Legacy and Impact Tiger Has Had on Golf
My guess is that you'll get to play as Tiger at different points in his career, in historical situations. I have zero interest in this, but if it somehow helps them sell games... then knock themselves out.
I'm much more interested in their quietly announced swing mechanic change coming for Tiger 13. Supposedly, this new swing mechanic is going to require proportionally more tempo and rhythm control as the difficulty level is increased. This is about 6 years overdue, IMO, and is the main reason I'm more pumped for this year's version than any other!
I agree with Seymour, they need to put more effort into the career mode and making it seem more like a dynamic event, with real personalities involved. I can't make myself plod through it, even though I need some of the career mode achievments to get some of the equipment I want!?
I'm an XBox 360 and PS3 owner. I should be excited about the fact that the 360 version will include Kinect support, but in all honesty, after experiencing the Move in Tiger 12.... I'll reserve judgement. I honestly don't see how they can accurately translate body, arm, and wrist movement with the Kinect and have it produce a believable result on screen. I have learned that you can hold a club, or a another object similar to the weight and feel of a club when swinging in the Kinect interface. That will help a lot with the way it feels, but I just have doubts about what kind of precision they can get out of tracking the wrists in particular.
