I'm a little confused by the sponsor area. First do you have to select the sponsors in order as displayed or can you skip to any that are available.

Second, do you have to where your sponsor's clothing or use their gear to meet the sponsor objectives?

You don't need to wear their clothing or use their clubs or anything. All you have to do is make that sponsor active. You can skip from sponsor to sponsor, but be careful...You will lose any progress towards a cumulative objective. For example: If you have to win 3 events for Cleveland and you've won 2 of them and then switch to Nike...you will then have to win three more if you go back to Cleveland.

On a related topic, I just won a sponsor challenge but I nothing unlocked for me. I did use the calm wind pin as it was a challenge to play 4 par3 holes at 2 under. The first attempt had 20 mph winds so I used the pin on my second attempt. No swag for me.
