Digital Download TW14?

I think I'd like to download the game this year, but I'm not sure how much space I need or what some of the the benefits/drawbacks might be. Since I've never downloaded a game before, I'd like your guys' thoughts.

Will it be available in the PSN store ir xbox marketplace on day 1?

Still not sure if I want it for 360 or ps3.

According to one of the TW Devs, the PS3 version will be DD on Day One. The 360 version will not be DD until 3 months post-release. You might want to check with EA as I am not sure if the Historic Edition will be DD at all, but I am pretty sure the Standard Edition is. I do know you can upgrade both Standard versions to Historic by DD, but I am not sure on all the details.

Expect the size of the download to be between 6-8 GB in size.

Thanks Divot. What are the pros & cons of the download?

I assume there will be shorter load times, but I imagine recovery would be a pain if my console died

Shorter load times on the PS3 because you can't install the BluRay to the PS3 hard drive. About the same in the 360 if you install the DVD contents.

If your console died, you could always re-DL on either machine without any additional cost, but you would lose your career progress and saved games.
