Why haven't we heard anything about Connected Franchise?

It's finally July (Usually the time most of us would be playing NCAA ) and yet we still haven't heard anything about Connected Franchise if/or there are any improvements toward it.

Josh Looman has been silent on Twitter since about April, and last I heard anything that regarded CFM was the Design Contest for Relocated Teams.

So what gives? Most people I ask say they might not be improving much of anything except for adding the winning designs of the contest.
