Which addition to Madden 17 excites you and which is least intersting?

Pretty easy question, but with release less than two weeks away (for all of us), which feature excites you and which is least interesting to you?

For me:

Excites: Presentation upgrades. In-game ticker is awesome and I love having a new team personally. I did not like Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.

Least Interesting: Game Planning. I'm just not a big fan of in-game boosts, but I can of course just skip this part.

Excites: The improved zone coverage and gap play. Also the presentation sounds amazing and pretty happy with the equipment additions.


Least Interested: Anything to do with MUT

Exciting Aspects: CFM is really the mode that drives me to purchase Madden. Underneath the CFM umbrella, I am excited for game planning, formation subs, tweaks made to player development and presentation.

Not Exciting Aspects: No career mode added and play the moments. I think play the moments is only useful for casual CFM guys. Certainly a feature I will not be utilizing at all.

for the first time in a while i can actually say there is many things im looking forward to this year. normally theres only 1-2 things like last year aggressive catches and a few other things.

but this year im so excited for:

• the new presentation
• improvements to draft classes
• full player editing
• formation subs
• practice squad
• new ratings scale
• improved special teams
• new juke move that looks a lot better
• improved defensive AI
• new player equipment
• cpu vs cpu
• play the moments supersim feature

the list goes on and on im so excited. i probably even forgot a few things

as for things im not so excited about:

• the new big decisions "feature" in franchise mode which i think is just normal decisions you have to make but its being glorified as a "new feature"
• the new pylon cam. its a cool idea but from what we've seen in gameplay videos its used randomly and not just for close goaline plays. its annoying to see the pylon cam replay of a guy running across the goaline for a wide open touchdown.

Coverage & gap play. Madden has taken huge strides toward a more simulation style of gameplay the past 2-3 Maddens, otherwise I wouldn't be buying it every year. I used to buy it every ~3-4 years but I've bought M15/M16 and now M17 without regrets.

Most: Formation subs.
This one is easy. I absolutely love this option. I honestly hope it leads to playbook editing in the future. The more personal touch and control I can get as a coach/GM/owner, the better.

Least: anything to do with MUT
I just don't care.
