It depends on the team honestly. I have had shootouts and shutouts. 44-38 games and 6-3 games.

Re: Marino's Custom Sliders

I'm using these and the games have been pretty lopsided. I'm the Cowboys in my franchise and I was playing the Chiefs/Broncos and my defense was overwhelming against them.

I'm playing the Falcons now and I've made some tweaks of my own...but your base set is what I'm using.

I'm curious, why did you bump the WR catching to 50? Were you getting that many drops?

Re: Marino's Custom Sliders

Good stuff here Marino. I played two games last night with these. Cowboys (me) 20 Giants 13 and Steelers (me) 17 Ravens 16.

Two great games that played out the way I would expect them to IRL.

All 4 QB's passing percentages were between 52-60% which is perfect IMO. I did lower the INT slider to 5 for both USER and CPU. There are just way too many.

Brandon Jacobs ran all over the Cowboys but a Pick 6 and late TD helped me score 17 4th quarter points to get the win.

The Steeler/Raven game was a defensive struggle. If I had a guess I would say there were more than 15 punts in the game. I could not get any pressure on Eli in the first game but was all over Flacco in the second. He ended up 15-31.

One thing about sliders is that you have to try them for at least 5 games with different types of teams. The teams seem to play similar to their real life counterparts. Don't get frustrated after 1 game.

Re: Marino's Custom Sliders

The only thing I changed was the user catch rating. I had way to many drops. I thought it was because I was using the Jets but, my best catcher D. Keller had 4 drops in one half.

Overall great stuff with them. I was playing my franchise game against the Texans and Shaub was a little to accurate in the 2nd half. I think he ended up 25-49, 278, 1 td, 1int. I ended up winning 27-13. Slaton was held in check all game until I got sloppy mid way through the 3rd and he hit me with a 64 yd td. He ended with 92 on 23 carries. Which is nice because the game was pretty much over in the 3rd and they were still trying to mix things up with draws and screens.

Great sliders. I only wish we could use them in the OS Vets Franchise.
