Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Tried base black set to check out how it played, needed to bump up the cpu run offense and pass defense to start. Was definitely shredding secondaries with the Bears and crushing most running backs. Those are my biggest concerns to start.

Thoughts?

I just raised the CPUs runblocking and blockshedding to 60 on the front page.. Hopefully that helps them out some.. Go ahead and raise there pass rush up to 75 or 80 and see if that helps them out.. Where are you testing your games at?

Was at 50, then 55. Just changed to 60 and putting rush to 80 for next few games. Will report back in a bit.

Okay cool.. Give it a few games to see if you get some variety against different teams.. You already know I trust your feedback from all the discussions we had on 12.. I put the CPUs pass rush at 75 for the black set now.. I'm hoping to make the CPU competitive this year on the black set without having to raise there catching and INTs up to the max.. Keep me posted man..

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Played my first game (Bears vs Jaguars in my CCM) with the Red sliders and won 24-13. I played with 9 minute quarters with acc clock to 20 seconds, but I think I might consider bumping up to 10 minutes so there are a few more passing and rushing attempts for both teams.

I REALLY liked what I saw out of these sliders. The CPU seemed much more competent passing the ball, but there were still a few bad passes (which was good since the QB was Chad Henne lol). Running the CPU still didn't do as well as I would like them to overall, but they fared much better than in the past. If they had more time and weren't trailing most of the game I think they would have had a more respectable rushing total, but I will test with a few more games before changing anything. Overall, I liked the way the game felt.

Team Stats (USER/CPU):

Total Offense (206/222)
Rushing Yards (59/34)
Passing Yards (147/188)
First Downs (11/9)
PR Yards (29/13)
KR Yards (96/73)
Total Yards (331/308)
Turnovers (0/2)
3rd Down (6-12/4-11)
4th Down (0-0/1-2)
2pt (0-0/0-0)
Red Zone (2-2/0-0)
Red Zone TD (2-0)
Red Zone FG (0-0)
Penalties (0-0/1-5)
Time of Possession (20:29/15:31)

Individual Stats

Passing
Chad Henne (CPU) - 16/25 233 Yards 64% 1 TD 2 INTs 9.3 AVG 77 Long
Jay Cutler (USER) - 16/22 161 Yards 72% 2 TDs 0 INTs 7.3 AVG 20 Long

Rushing
Maurice Jones-Drew (CPU) - 15 ATT 26 Yards 2.4 AVG
Matt Forte (USER) - 19 ATT 59 Yards 3.1 AVG

Receiving
Mike Thomas (CPU) - 5 REC 115 Yards 23 AVG 1 TD
Maurice Jones-Drew (CPU) - 4 REC 55 Yards 13.7 AVG
Mercedes Lewis (CPU) - 3 REC 32 Yards 10.6 AVG
Justin Blackmon (CPU) - 2 REC 22 Yards 11 AVG 1 Drop
Chastin West (CPU) - 1 REC 1 Yard 1 AVG
Laurent Robinson (CPU) - 1 REC 8 Yards 8 AVG
Cecil Shorts III (CPU) - 1 Drop

Brandon Marshall (USER) - 4 REC 34 Yards 8.5 AVG 1 Drop
Devin Hester (USER) - 4 REC 38 Yards 9.5 AVG 1 TD 1 Drop
Kellen Davis (USER) - 3 REC 39 Yards 13 AVG 1 TD
Alshon Jeffery (USER) - 2 REC 27 Yards 13.5 AVG 2 Drops
Evan Rodriguez (USER) - 1 REC 8 Yards 8 AVG
Earl Bennett (USER) - 1 REC 4 Yards 4 AVG 1 Drop
Matt Forte (USER) - 1 REC 11 Yards 11 AVG

Only complaints would be the rushing yards for the CPU and that I had 6 sacks which felt like too many for the amount of passing attemtps, but more than half were coverage sacks so I will see if it continues with further testing.

Also, does anyone have a realistic set of auto-subs? I saw my defense getting tired a lot and I want them to sub realistically...would the OP's auto-subs from last year be fine?

Yeah just bump the CPUs rushing up to the blue set and see if it opens up for them.. I just raised the CPUs runblocking on the blue and black set.. The CPUs pass rush also got a boost on all 4 sets..

I'll definitely take a look at the CPUs pass blocking when I get the game because I'm a beast at getting pressure on the CPU and I was having issues on 12 getting too many sacks per season..

Go ahead and test my auto-subs from 12 and see how they play out..
