Yea fist its quit possible that's where they will go but I guess we won't know until tonight/tomorrow.

I thought so myself.
But the last I read, there's a limit of around 280 players for the FA pool.
So if we cut 20 players to get to 55.
Then 20x32= 640 players.
So most will probably be deleted, to stay under this limit.

But, I don't know for sure until they release the update.


Using the current rosters, I noticed all the real players are advailable during the entire season.
When I simmed the 1st year.


But I think with the next update, I believe EA will just delete most of these cuts.
To stay under their limit.
So there will not be enough FA to fill each roster, before entering a new franchise.
So the rest will be fake players

What were the results of the sim, where most of those players cut or did they keep them and cut the Rookies?

I didn't have any fake player on my teams.
I filled each roster to 75 players.

Then I simmed the year.
I let the cpu cut & fill rosters.

I wanted to see if any of the real players cut were deleted becuase of the limit.
I advanced to the regular season then to the off season.

All the players in the 40's, who were cut was still there.
Even Figures a WR who dropped to a 39 was still advailable.

The reason was because earlier in the thread someone mentioned even real players vanished.

Off topic, but I noticed my O & D coordinaters were real.
K. shanahan & J. Haslett.
However my special teams coach was fake.

Lmao do all these udfa have F potiental or are some c to a? Bc only ones I've seen have been f's and this is a pointless feature if they all are

Most of them are F's but they can be edited to have a higher potential that corresponds what it becomes with editing. I needed to make Ben Ijalana for the Colts and some other guys since decided to start my franchise with the current rosters, with some CAPs and edits of fakes.

there were waay more players than i needed. alot of teams only needed a few guys. some teams needed like 8 or nine. sorting the fa's by lowest ovr i did end up having to sign guys who were like mid 60's ovr. the problem i had was when it came time to cut players, there were probably some low rated guys who actually were on the team that i cut when trimming the rosters. i havent followed the nfl in like two years so im not up to date with the players. so what i did was:

if there was a young player (23 and under) who was low rated (50's) but had A or B potential i tried to keep them in favor of say a 27yr old 55 ovr guy. so in the end, across the league my third stringers are off from IRL. its the best i could do since i dont know half of the players today lol. at least there are little to none fake UDFA's on teams.

Has anyone brought up how real NFL players are disappearing when getting cut? Is this a side effect of the UDFAs?
