Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

For me, a guy like Shady Munroe isn't worth a first round pick, even if you get the storyline where he runs an impressive 40 time and comes out of the draft with a 97 SPD. Yeah, 6'8", 97 SPD and 74 AGI and ACC. As far as I'm concerned, for a first round pick, that's a bust. How can you take advantage of that speed without the acceleration and body control to go with it? To me, he seems like a specialty player; a guy you'd really like lining up at WR in red zone situations, but fairly useless otherwise. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong in valuing high AGI and ACC to go along with SPD, but in my CFM he's in his 5th year and rated 77 OVR for the Lions. He's had one year with 820 yards receiving, but only 13 total TD catches in his entire career, and an average of about 600 yards receiving in his other 4 seasons.

Worth picking 7th overall? Not for me... but I rarely, if ever, use my first round picks.

I've got the Wolverine Justice draft, any players of note or hidden gems?
He's not a sleeper since projected to go #1, but Garret McCadden is by far the best QB I've seen over several draft classes. 88 Spd, 92 THP, 80+ THA 70 AWA and superstar dev. Plus he's not curse with white sleeves.

He's a beast in the pistol

just wondering if anyone has some in site on this particular draft!

Other story line Players in it are

Damir Stalin DE

Avril Stalin (They are brothers from Russia)

Marcus Jones HB (Had a 20 yard TD run that he carried 2 defenders into the endzone with him on the play)

Kevin Taylor QB (A WR turned QB)
just had that as my 1st draft last night.

drafted dubois & taylor. taylor's arm is a weak (mid 80's?) but has very good short & mid accuracy IIRC. he also has 97 SPD & high 90s ACC.

cant remember the attributes of dubois, but avg development. haven't played a game yet w/either.

jones prob projects to a stud FB. great TRK & STR but slow.

found a FB in last round that had 88 RBK & 80+ IMP to as rookie. high STR as well. cant remember his name.

all the players you mentioned go in the 1st or 2nd rd.

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

It seems Shady Monroe has been a polarizing player on here. Here's my take. I like having him on my team but he isn't worth a high draft pick. He was projected 6th-7th round in mine. He's low-mid 80s speed. But at 6'8, he's fun having as a specialty player as someone already noted. He's fun to play with but if you sim a lot, you're not in good shape at WR if he's on the field a lot. He comes in at age 20 so he has a few years to develop. He came in as a 68 OVR to me and a few years into it is a 74. I'm a huge fan of tall WRs so I had to get him on my team. Plus him being the son of Stretch from NBA Street was an awesome bonus storyline too.

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

I'm just curious but are the guys that did the excel sheets for last year's storyline drafts going to do the same for this year's game?

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

Anyone come across the class with the two best friends that play QB and LT? I just started the season, but I'm curious as to which one flops. Or better yet, if they have a fight and end their friendship lol.
