I havent seen any protak in any of the new E3 vids.

has anybody else notice this? so far tackling has looked about the same as last year in the vids that came out today, one person making the tackle while the other defenders just stand around or just dive on the ground. defenders still should help even if its only one or two of them around the ball carrier. if this is how tackling is going to be this year with protak just kicking in a few times a game, then the tackling still has a long way to go.

I disagree, the draw play in the Seahawks video was a perfect example of how dynamic tackling can be with the new system.

There were examples of pro-tak in some of the videos. Remember, not every tackle is a pile up.

I know every tackle is not a pile up but two or three players can make a tackle or try to help out there team make.

There's too many instances in the real NFL of guys just standing around instead of sticking their nose in

The good news is this is something that can be tuned. Just a case of striking the right balance as far as implementation.

You see ProTak in nearly every video. It's used in all Oline-Dline play if I remember correctly. It's not just tackling. Like I've said before, I think it stands for Procedural Technology now.
