What happened to kickoffs?

Has anyone else noticed that the kickoffs at default level 50 are considerably shorter than they used to be? Kickers like Janikowski and Buehler could kick into the end zone, now the kickoffs are barely reaching the 5yd line and most kickers are hitting between the 8-10yd line. Has anyone seen this all of a sudden?

No not really. I don't kick one into the end zone everytime. But it all depends on how you angle the kicking curser before you kickoff. Go into practice and work on the different angles of kicking to get it right is the best solution I can give to be honest.

Kick off's were nerfed down in one of the patches after an outcry of people bitching they could not get past the 20-24 yard line. When in reality that is about the average starting position in the NFL.

Ok, so it's a patch issue. It seems like the computer kicker is worse on field goals too, more often than not they're missing field goals, bad job.

Missed XPs happen. Usually due to being tipped, but just pretend someone got a hand on it.

I actually like the kickoffs being shorter.

The fact that I could get a touchback on every single kickoff, barring a ****load of wind, with Mason Crosby was ridiculous.

I don't like the new kicking stuff. Since the patch, not only have I not seen or performed a single touchback (through eight weeks the NFL has yet to see a single touchback from any kicker in my franchise), but I have seen a kick even just barely reach the endzone. You can no longer tell the difference between strong and weak legged kickers as easily, and there are some guys in real life that can get a lot of touchbacks and even boot a few farther than the backline of the endzone.

Also, it seems like if the CPU kicks when outside the 30 yardline, it is inevitably going to be wide left or right. In my franchise, no kicker has made any kicks unless they were inside the 20 yard line.

The only thing that I like about this new system is that I can't return kickoffs for touchdowns anymore, which used to be far too easy. In my old, pre-patch franchise Tate had like 4 returned TD's in the first few weeks. Now, through seven games, he has 0 and only averages about 21 per return.

Im a cowboys fan and Buehler has only about 3 kicks this season in the endzone I thinkhe only has 1 Touchback out those 3. Haven't seen to many touchbacks this year on kickoffs
