PS4 Madden worries

Maybe I am a little early with this, but seeing how poor the PS3 versions of Madden has been on current gen compared to the xbox 360 version, is anyone else nervous about the samething happening in the next gen systems??


i have already pre ordered my PS4 along with Madden 25, but seeing that Madden has some type of deal with Microsoft {not sure of the details) but im hoping that doesnt mean that the PS4 version will once again be a ported from the Xbox1 version. I would hate to have to deal with invisible players in next gen or any other crazy glitches.

It's sad really. People shouldn't have to buy an Xbox 360 just to play an EA sports game.

i hope the jaggies will be gone next gen. i hope the games are equally the same. i will buy the system with the better madden

Exactly!! Ive played all the madden's on this current gen on the Xbox but i have seen the problems that the PS3 have had and i really want to make the switch to PS4, but idk if its the best move to make seeing whats happened in the past.

One has nothing to do with the other.

The XBox One and the PS4 have very similar architectures so it shouldn't be a problem, if anything the PS4 could have an advantage over Xbox is framerate is optimized. Some devs may take advantage of the PS4, some may not, likely most games will be identical.

The games other than exclusives will run at identical resolution and frame rates. The exclusives will be coded just for that platform, hence the increased frame rate & eye candy. PS4 exclusives will look beautiful, hands down.

The graphics for both will be amazing, but what really should excite people is we should have much better AI on next gen games.

As others have said, it shouldn't be much difference this up coming generation. The PS4 is much more developer friendly than the PS3 was. The thing is a beast and we all should see it. I own both but primarily went with the 360. The multi plat games just looked and performed better. Hopefully that will not be the case this time around.
