So I don't know if this is considered a bug/glitch but if you think about it, it's just an odd situation.
I was playing a ranked game as the Chargers. I believe I threw an out-route to Antonio Gates who caught it past the first down marker. Danny Woodhead ran a swing to the same side so when I caught it with Gates, I decided to try to lateral it to Woodhead (I love trying to run hook and ladder plays).
Woodhead did catch it but a flag was thrown for an illegal forward pass... I don't remember if it was actually a forward pass. If anything it was a sideways pass even though Woodhead started behind Gates. Either way, my opponent accepted it.
Like I said at the beginning, I guess the game was just trying to follow NFL ruling (loss of downs and negative yardage? And since I was past the first down marker, I guess that explains the negative yardage.
Couldn't stop laughing when it happened haha. I really should have gotten a video of it but I forgot to.
And in case anyone's wondering, on 3rd and -4 I just ran it with Philip Rivers awkwardly, because I was pretty much guaranteed the first down as long as he didn't fumble... I wish I could have kneeled the ball because I still would have been past the first down marker.
I'm sure this has happened to someone before. Just thought I'd share it with the OS Community!
