why did the graphics took a hit ?

So they could make it run smoother. That's usually the reason they do it anyway. Obviously they kind of messed it up though.

I noticed a minor setback but nothing huge. I do like that most of the players' faces are correct though.

I don't post too often on here but I find the forums very helpful....I played 2k7 year round and thought for the most part it was really good.I'm sorry but 2k8 graphics are absolutely horrible!XBOX 360 graphics on a 42' hd tv should not look anything similar to my ps2.Rather than buy a PS3 and try the Show I guess will be sticking with 2k7.2K Sports was making huge strides in graphics,I hope they realize they made a mistake.

Yah, I think one big thing they did so it could run at 60 fps was take out 3D grass - I imagine all those individual blades took up a good deal of space - but yikes, the grass just looks awful this year.

A good deal of space/ that doesn't make sense to me. a dual layer disc has about 9 gigs of space and a bluray disc has like 25 gigs? what space are ya talkin about? i say this is all lazy and quick programming
