I just started up my franchise with the Cubs. In the second game of the season, Fukudome launches a pitch onto Sheffield, an absolute bomb! When he gets back to the dugout, it shows all the players just sitting there while Fukudome looks around for congratualtions. They totally snubbed him for hitting his first homerun.

The announcers also mentioned that it was his first homerun. Very Cool!!

ANyone else see this?

Yes, it was actually in last years game. Nice touch though.

Unfortunately, this is a pretty standard animation that you see a lot in this game.

But - even though it is pretty common, it is really well done. I like how they usually have the right guys on the bench celebrating.
