Weather effects in?

I havent been following this game much and i only know a little about it but i am wondering if there will be rain or other types of weather effects in mlb10 the show. Im sure this has been mentioned before I searched the forums but to no avail I couldnt find anything. So I am wondering if rain will finally be in a baseball game.

I really don't think it will be in, but I do not know. I do know it was in 2k8 or something like that. I hope they implement it sometime.

Sadly no rain but I think different things like overcast , sunny ect are in again plus they did alot with lighting effects from day to night ect .

I really think rain is no biggie, at least not yet, because they don't really play a full game in the rain unless it rains like in the early part of the game where they delay it or really late in the games where it would make no sense to delay.

so it's no biggie.

I heard from an unofficial source that rain will be in this year. There will be live weather conditions and even rain delays/rain outs from time to time in franchise mode. Dont quote me on this. This is just something i heard from a friend that works in the gaming industry and loves The Show. I hope he is right!

your unofficial source is incorrect.

Russell has already confirmed there is no rain in this year's game.
