Franchise Progression

Is the franchise progression fixed this year? Last year, every single player regressed significantly during the year and there was quite a bit of "hub bub" about it.

Re: Franchise Progression

I didn't have any problems with mine either. I only had it with a couple of players who would never progress, that is they only regressed, such as Ryan Sweeney. Players like Gordon Beckham, and Buster Posey progressed really well over the course of the year.

The only thing I would like to see improved would be the pitching progression because it wouldn't tell you if their individual pitches progressed you had to go and pitch a game with them to find out, no big deal though.

Re: Franchise Progression

We must have been playing different games, cause all of my players regressed. Here are some just laughable examples.

Jorge De la Rosa went 15-3 with a 2.96 ERA. He went down 8 points on every attribute in player progression. Nope, not broken.

Mark Reynolds hit .312 with 51 HR's and 116 RBI's. He went down 5 points on every attribute in player progression. Nope, not broken.

Daniel Bard had 36 saves and had a 2.80 ERA. He went down 4 points on every attribute in player progression. Nope, not broken.

So, all three of them had beyond career years and they all got worse. Makes a lot of sense...

Did you manually controll player trainning or let the cpu do it?

Re: Franchise Progression

yes THANK YOU. every single player regressed in franchise. it's not like some regressed and some stayed the same. EVERYONE's ratings went way down. It made playing franchise very difficult over the long term

Yep....so if I just throw out some of the names stats and progression.....what does THAT mean?

This is pointless....as I've tested DOZENS and DOZENS of seasons in franchise and have had plenty of players progress.

Sorry....if you're saying players only regress....wrong.
