I got to tell you as a fan this is tearing at me. I'm pretty sure that the playoffs won't be expanded in the Show if they are in real life. At least that is what I gather from various threads. And I gotta say, I'm not going to be happy because thats going to affect whether or not I purchase MLB 12. I'm pretty sure there are people that won't purchase if the MLB and the Show aren't the same.

I'm one of those guys that has to have things accurate, that's why I jumped to the Show. If this is left out of 12' then I will probably not purchase the game. 11' was a great game and I will roll with it for 2012.

Anybody else have any thoughts? Of course this is all moot if they wait til 2013 to expand.

I suppose if all the new features, fixes, changes are not worth the $60 if there is no expanded play off in '12. Then, it makes sense to save the $60 and continue playing '11 which also does not have an extended play off...

While I understand the desire to have something accurate, MLB 11 doesn't have the "accuracies" that 12 will have by running through another development cycle!

How would a game that comes out in two months be able to re-create a new MLB policy that doesn't even officially exist yet?

I'm not using the new pulse pitching nor the zone analog hitting. They both have no expanded playoff system. So you think I'm going to pay $60 for an updated roster and cut scenes?

I came in here to argue Yankees2009Champs but you're being extremely mature and have given solid, unbiased reasons for not buying MLB '12.

What is the point of this thread? You seem to already know an answer and seem to only use it as an avenue to mention how you won't buy the game.
