If that's true, then the ratings need to be fine tuned, because I consider anyone around 90 and up to be all-star quality, and the only tool that Dom Brown has (or at least displays) is power, and he still only hit 27 last year. But if you are right with your comment about those attributes coming out to a 90 overall player, then maybe a high 80's rating would be possible, although that just doesn't feel right at all.

Burnett is done. I was at Pirates 1st playoff game in STL and a heckler started an AJ chant. AAAJ , AAAJ ,.... Then all of leftfield joined in. He fell apart soon after and was starring out to left in between pitches lol .

AJ never had a history of pitching well in St Louis and history was bound to repeat itself had he pitched in game 7. Cole was the right choice to start that game and he was probably pulled to early in favor of a pinch hitter.

Having said that I understand the pirates stance in what they offered AJ, 8.5 million for a year. The pirates are not going to pay Burnett the money he wants because of his age.

The Yankees over payed kuroda at age 37 but who don't they over pay?

In Burnett's defense he finished ahead of WAR protections in both 2012 and 13 and also in 13 led the league in k/9.

He's still a bull dog, just wanted out of NY.

He'll pitch this season and the bucs and Burnett will meet somewhere in the middle.
