Batting Order Reset

Is there anyway to keep the batting orders that are set in the exhibition mode of aroster when bringing them into franchise and not have them automatically reordered?

Re: Batting Order Reset

Remove the 15 players not on the 25 man active from the 40 man roster .....save it with the 25 players only on their 40 man roster...and use that roster to start.

You can use 30 team control...and do the same thing....then replace the 15 players on the 40 man as well.

The key is to not have to force the CPU to make a roster move...if it chooses a player to keep.....instead of a player in a lineup...it sets new lineups to accommodate.

Yes which sucks having to send down 450 guys every time you want to start a season with correct lineups

What they should do is allow you to choose either a 25 man squad or 40 man squad to start spring training with or make a NRI section that automatically separates the extra 15 guys from the 40 man so the CPU sees them as inactive and won't cause a conflict at the end of spring

Having the 40 guys to use in spring is great for the experience but people set 25 man rosters in exhibition because those are the lineups they want to play with period

That's a pretty good idea. I was hoping that as we carry over to next gen this would get fixed. Every year you have to send so many players down and then back up. Its 40 man. Been part of baseball for a long time. To me this was always a glitch in the code.

Re: Batting Order Reset

so to be clear, you have to cut the rosters down to only 25? Wont that cause errors in the 40 man roster that iwl lcome up in roster contorl and not let you exist the mode? Seems like it might be easier to just start seaosn mode and redo the batting orders *sigh*

Fix what?
There is nothing broken.
You can't shut down the CPU from making decisions....THAT would be "breaking" a portion of the game.

Yes....if you use 30 team control......and just reset the lineups on the first day...that will do it.
Removing 15 players from each team is much easier IMO.....but....
Just make sure you're not removing anyone from the 40 that is in a lineup or starting rotation.
You can add them back on once the season proper starts.

What the **** are you talking about? Shut down the computer from making lineup changes, sidling the lineup around when the user had 30 team control. WTF does that have to do with the computer making decisions? The original post wants to know why the user has to release 15 players from the 40 man roster for every team because there's a spring season and a regular season.

The lack of a DH position ****s up lineups as well. Create a DH position please. The game logs a primary position and a secondary position.

Btw, I'm not pissed at your response. The ps3 and osfm rosters have been your baby. This is the ps4 era. Time to step up the AI decisions.
