Pitcher Center batting view

Anybody use this batting view? I've been playing MLB The Show since I don't know when, but after trying this out, I gotta say it's clean. Looks like real baseball presentation on TV and you can make out the pitches well.

I've had a rough time with sliders especially with pitchers pitching the same side as the batter, but with this view, the sliders are easy to detect.

I've been pounding the baseball left and right using this cam.

Just wanted to say try it out, you won't be disappointed. Use it with guess pitch and directional hitting.

Re: Pitcher Center batting view

I tried it once during a Spring Training game but it wasn't for me.

I prefer the WIDE camera angle for batting.

Re: Pitcher Center batting view

If you have enjoyed this view, I would suggest you also try the Catcher Offset view.

It gives you the best view possible when utilizing the righty-kefty matchups. Meaning, if you are facing a lefty pitcher on the other team, you'll want to set up a mostly right-handed lineup, because the view gives you the best look at all the pitches.

Conversely, when you have a lefty facing a lefty batter, the camera offsets (hence the name) and makes it a bit tougher to pickup the nasty stuff in under the hands.

This makes pinch hitting, and smart substitutions a big part of the game, and gives an advantage to the pitcher where he is facing same-handed batters.

Again, this game is all about what makes it fun for you but sometimes you can gain a pearl of insight, that enhances your game enjoyment immensely.

Sometimes I like to use this for a change of pace with directional hitting. It's remarkably easy to read pitches, though not easier than the batting cameras.

Thanks and thanks for all those that replied. But which one is the catcher offset? I dont see that option. I just see Offset, Offset 2 and close offset (which I suck at)

Re: Pitcher Center batting view

Sorry, Offset 2 is the one I use, and really enjoy.
