And by "We want to develop MMA" they really mean "We want to develop MMA by piggybacking on the success of the UFC, a promotion that has already developed MMA by taking tremendous risks and exhibiting a large amount of savvy, not by riding the coattails of a great fighter who for some reason feels indebted to them."

But the latter quote, while technically much more accurate, isn't quite as snazzy. Plus, it'd make for a terrible title for one of snakerattle's threads.

What a joke these guys are. "We want to share the profit" -- bull****, you want to latch your dying promotion onto the most successful promotion in the world by far. Fedor's probably just scared of waking up with a horse head in his bed otherwise he'd dump these morons.

how can Vadim be a Scumbag when a guy like Fedor sides with him?, Vadim has been around MMA since 1997 when Dana was still an aerobics instructor and didnt give a damn on MMA. Vadim's M-1 global has been developing fighters and the sport in the grass root levels and not doing this PPV money making stuffs like all these American ORGS are doing just for the sake of money. M-1 global's agenda eversince is to develop MMA worlwide and give exposure to Internationally unknown fighters... Vadim > Dana

Siding with Vadim says more about Fedor's lack of character.

They have to do it at a grassroots level because every time they try to move into the big time the organizations they are working with end up going out of business.

Vadim is a leech who will suck the life out of any promotion that is stupid enough to work with him.
