Exactly how I feel. Each version has its pros and cons. But with sliders adjustments I have the most fun on 17.

I purchased 2k24 for Xbox Series S a few days ago. So far, the graphics, the atmosphere, the player movement and animations are great.

Regarding gameplay features I have to say there are some that are completely missing or not working properly. Which is sad, because they were present in Old Gen games.

Not sure why in future franchise years that current rookies are still called rookies and in the rookie of the year category. I don’t remember this mistake in prior years but it should have been patched/fixed.

Is it because the CPU doesn't use rotations properly so you often get rookies go an entire season without even playing a single game? Then they are still seen as rookies the next season because of it.

Nope. I play Ausar Thompson a lot and in year two he is referenced as a rookie. Chet Holmgren in my second year is shown as a top 3 rookie when they talk about rookie of the year voting. It’s broken that way.

Lord I love DHO plays "Give". I've been working on a Give Freelance in my head. I wish I could put in the game. When I play with Draymond Green or Sabonis. I'm super close to getting a triple double with one of them.

One of the things I completely love about DHO (in real life too). Is involving an off ball defending user in the game play. Most users off ball with a center or a big man protecting the paint. But because they can't cover that much ground with a slow big. They leave the perimeter wide open.

But if they step up and not have their defense set behind them. The screener is wide open for the layup

Corners defenders can't help at all. To many open jumpers if they do that

The other thing is it also works great with players that can drive. Gets them into the lane very quickly. It's basically a pick and roll. But with the defender figuring that at the last moment..

I just hope they add more passing animations to the DHO. You could get creative with the between the legs or the over head pass.
