Fair difficulty for you vs, CPU, and what level will you play on in 2k17?
Just want to see what is a fair difficulty for you guys to play on nba 2k16, i really hope theres like a level between allstar and superstar, allstar feels too easy at times and superstar the cpu really cheats on me, and going into nba 2k17, which level of difficulty will you want to try first?Tags: None -

I think it might still be SS/Sim for me. I am sure this is the level the dev's set it to tune for a realistic difficulty.
If they added all of this new fatigue, shooting, defense, live rebounds, deflections transition defense, play sets, live ball etc. I don't think they have to resort to program the CPU to take advantage of you artificially or at least I hope not. They should put all that extra BS in HOF. There should be enough natural flow of the game that I don't think I will need to go higher than SS
There appears to be plenty of game play stuff I saw in those bootleg Gamescom videos that showed not only a smarter CPU but a realistic CPU and that is what I want realism. -

Thats one of the things sliders does to adjust if your say between levels. IM sure you know that as you up the levels, the CPU, gets boost to speed, reb, etc, to where you need to do some adjusting to make it so you dont feel the CPU has a unfair advantage.
I wish it wasnt that way, but I guess they havent found a better way yet on upping the difficulty level. Personally I think as you up the level of difficulty it should be the IQ of the team as a whole go up, less turnovers, better shot selection, etc, and not boosting rebounding, speed etc, which makes you feel like the CPU cheats.
I have no clue how games are made and how coding works, so not knocking the way they do it, because I suppose they just havent figured out a better way, so I just adjust the areas where it seems its so unfair, while still making sure that it harder for me to win on the level IM playing on. Which if I remember right it ended up SS star last year. All star it seems is the most far as unfair boost goes.
Seems someone here a couple years ago, maybe longer did a chart to show where the CPU players got unfair boost, cant remember who it was, but each level I think past AS got a certain boost, and every level above that got even more of a boost. Someone probably more technically savy than me which isnt hard could probably pull this up to show you, as I think it was in the slider section.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

All star is too easy, Hall of Fame is too rigged, so superstar it is.Comment

I'll normally play on Pro/All-Star but with customized sliders shared from the awesome OS community
Personally, as a general rule of thumb, if the CPU's bigs are as quick as my guards then I'm bumping the difficulty down!Comment

I usually play superstar/sim but in rare instances where i get too annoyed with the cpu cheating i have no issue dropping it to allstar/default. I use SS simply because i think that's what's used online so in a way it's simply a preparation for part of the bs you encounter there, obviously most of it is still user related though.Comment

I've always had trouble choosing between all-star and superstar.
Sometimes all star is too easy, but superstar and hall of fame is where the cpu just start cheesing too much for meComment
