I saw this in one of the videos.....

A.Jamison
2009 first round pick

for

E.Okafor

This isn't fair IMO.

Anyone feel the same?

slightly stupid looking at it from all angles.

Emeka is rated as a 83. Jamison is a 85.

Jamison is also the cheaper of the two with an $11 million dollar contract and only 4 years on contract for a total of $50 mil.

Emeka has a salary of $12 million and is on contract for 6 years for a total of $72 million.

I could see if contracts were reversed and youd want to have a guy only around for 4 years on your books, but this doesnt make much sense.

especially considering the draft pick , which again, shouldve been from the bobcats side.

Yuck... but not too yucky from what ive seen in the past

the other trade that came up made alittle more sense.

80 sg JR smith for 77 pg Dj augustine

JR was a bonabide backup for the nuggets behind AI.

Augustine would be a 4 pt. HIGHER rated PG for the nuggets over chucky atkins and anthony carter who were both a 73.

now the nuggets would have had no backup SG until 72 rated D jones.

I dont see how either of those trades are unfair - they are better than years past.

Okafor for Jamison and a first round is very possible. Okafor is young and a defensive beast. In real life that first round pick would likely be protected. Jamison is getting up there in age as well.

For the Augustine for J.R. it makes some what sense because the Bobcats already have a starting PG in Felton and could feel that J.R. would be a better back up than Morrison.

I can see how some of you guys might think those are unfair, but they are definitely better then the things I've seen before. Hopefully there aren't TOO many trades.

I mean when you look at the screen, this trade was offered, It didn't say was final or accepted, I have no proof of that. I have to play with trades on, thats just me, I like seeing teams make other moves, just not stupid moves though.

---multi-players, picks offered through offers instead of cpu always offering 1 for 1
---offers make a little more sense
---this does not show what cpu for cpu trades that went through
