Realistic Stats On All Star w/ Default Sliders. Its Possible! (Video Proof)

I will admit I use to be one of the ones who complained that Nba2k9 was too difficult and unrealistic. But after playing it for a while now I realize that is not the case. This year's game is actually even MORE sim than before. There is a steep learning curve and if you don't run your offense and defend like in real basketball you will be punished. I was getting blown out consistently but now all my games are pretty competitive. The game is not unplayable or broken or need sliders or a serious patch to enjoy. It just takes a while to get good at it and thats the way it should be.

Both matches went down to the wire. Here's the stats from 2 games

All Star Default Sliders 5 min quarters

Cleveland vs LA
FG% 44 - 54
PIP 34 - 42

Celtics vs LA
FG% 57 - 54
PIP 30 - 34

I play player lock so I was point guard. I always switch up my defense and choose a point of emphasis on timeouts. I recorded these games on my laptop so it is not hd. I apologize for the quality I didn't know it was going to be so bad.

Cleveland vs LA

I put Kobe on Lebron. My 2-3 defense really took Cleveland out of their game early but of course they adjusted and came back later.









Lebron end up scoring 11 pts on 4-11 shooting
Mo Williams was their leading scorer with 16 on 6-15
Big Z had 11 pts 4 rebs



Celtics vs LA

I tried to have Odom deny Pierce the ball and put Bynum on KG which probably wasn't a good idea. They were killing me inside until I switched to a 2-3. Then Ray started getting hot from outside but after a few of his shots were contested they stop falling.










Allen had 18 on 8-14
Garnett had 16 on 8-10
Pierce had 12 on 4-11

the first two plays of the game the cpu threw the ball right to the paint.
