Posting Up?

Alright, I've asked this question four times and no answer. So I figured I would have to start a thread in order to get an answer.

How come whenever I try to post up by pressing RT + LT, it doesn't work? Sometimes it does if I'm already sprinting and then press LT, but that's not how it should work. In the NBA, you don't have to be moving already to post up. And i can never post up after just receiving the ball and facing up the opponent.

For example, in the demo, Derek Fisher is bringing the ball down the court. Pau Gasol is on the left block posted up ready to receive the ball. I pass it to Pau, so he's facing up KG. I press RT + LT together to post up, but that does nothing.

This is so frustrating. Am I doing something wrong?

titan321 man I don't have an answer. I have not had this problem when playing. My guess is no one else is having the problem and that is why they have not responded.

Seems like a good thread to ask in...

Is there any way to walk the ball up the court with your back to the basket ala Gary Payton. Hell, is there any way to turn your back anywhere any dribble around?

Hold the back triggers as you dribble around.

i'm not really sure but i think what u have 2 do is press LT & RT while ur moving into the player. for examplae with gasol move the left stick towards KG while pressing LT and RT. hope it helps
