NBA2k9 Legends vid

So as I'm watching old school basketball on NBA TV (currently 86' 76ers VS Bucks) I loaded up NBA2k9 for the PC. I was curious how the Legends looked since all i remember was how bad Bird looks.

To my surprise they look great. I think it was 2k7 is where the legendary players looked awful.

The problem I had with the old Legends teams in previous 2K titles was that playing with them did not really feel like you were playing with the actual players. Not enough individuality or signature style. That and also the fact that they were in generic "all star" uniforms, with the current baggy long shorts and jerseys just looked off to me. That is part of the reason why I am so excited about 2K12. It's the actual legends on their actual teams playing against era specific competition, and to me that makes all the difference in the world.

GREAT video. Being someone who came back to basketball with NBA 2k11 (well, technically 2k10 demo lol) It's interesting seeing how the game was a few years ago. Still looks pretty good and I see how OLD some of the commentary can be.

And why can't 2k12 have these kinds of teams again? I don't understand that at all. I just want those 50's stars
