Pete Maravich Free Throws

Anyone think 2K would have been able to (or was able to) get Pistol Pete's free throw shot and routine in the game?

I mean, do you think they could capture this and make it a free throw style in the game?
(if they did it would be awesome. not only because it would make playing with Maravich more authentic, but also because this is my free throw routine, so I could use it in My Player; though it would be a bitch to try to time when shooting)

(go to 4:22 - should automatically start there for you)

EDIT - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt-K4J8Os30&t=12m26s

should start at the right time for you. if not, it's 12:26

Is the hair flip part of his routine?

Re: Pete Maravich Free Throws

haha. I was just referring to how he starts at the back of the circle and just walks into his shot.

a hair flip would mean 2K would have had to have made it so that hair flows and flops in the game instead of looking like a helmet.

Re: Pete Maravich Free Throws

If you're serious, no, I don't think they will have that in the game. As far as gameplay on free throws, they have positions where all players originate, and it would take extra code to start the player elsewhere. They can do a nice, quick animation with no pre-shot routine, which I think would be pretty cool.

Re: Pete Maravich Free Throws

I hope they have Wilt Chamberlains FT routine, he does nothing special but he shoots it like where Nick Van Exel did. You would think a guy with such a horrible shot would take that step in.

Re: Pete Maravich Free Throws

The forward walk won't make it into the game. The basic stance and FT motion will, however.
